I like to promote n to show how interesting"Wayang Kulit"is.As a "Pak Dalang" or story teller,I recite the stories which connected to "Wayang Kulit" or Puppets."Wayang Kulit" have their own character,stories n names.Different names are connected with the title of paintings.Every color has its own identity.For instance black represent blood and meat,brown the sky,yellow depicts the air and red anger.I bring this stories and character into Wayang Painting as my signature.
Standby all the material needed for batik.For example batik color,wax,brushes,chanting etc....
Heat up the wax
Staple all side of wooden rectangle wood with cotton.
Draw or trace pictures onto the cotton
Using Chanting, follow the drawing outline.picture.
Lastly, color the picture.
